On April 12, 1980, Terry Fox launched the Marathon of Hope, a cross‑Canada run that inspired a nation. The film follows the 21‑year‑old amputee as he battles pain and fatigue to cover 5,300 km on a single prosthetic leg. Though his journey ends in Thunder Bay, Ontario, a month before his 23rd birthday, his determination and legacy endure in the hearts of Canadians everywhere.
