The documentary follows the oppression faced by families of the MST, Brazil’s Landless Workers Movement, after they occupied Anoni Farm in Rio Grande do Sul in 1985. It centers on Rose, a determined mother who fights for land ownership and basic human rights, and who gave birth to the first child in the camp.
