“the Nineties had a pretty bad start,” says filmmaker Vincent Dieutre, who leads us through his universe in Utrecht, Naples and Rome. A gay man in two love affairs wanders nightly searching for lost beauty. The film, part diary, part baroque play, assembles fragments of his journey against a Caravaggio‑inspired backdrop, merging painting, sensuality and cityscape into an obscure, white‑hot collage of vanity.
