Vishwam falls seriously ill, and Sita uses every resource to help him recover. The cost of medicines and care soon overwhelms their meager funds, pushing her to seek external help.

Sita finally calls a doctor, but it is too late to save Vishwam. He dies, leaving her to cope alone with an infant and mounting hardship.

Relatives advise her to return to her parents for support, but she resists. She resolves to stay with her child, determined to endure the hardship together.

In the final moment, Sita feeds the baby while gazing at a Ramayana painting depicting Sita Swayamvara. She stares at the closed door of their house with quiet determination to endure.
