A rural youth arrives in Taipei to find his sister, who has been silent for a year. Starting in a tenement slum, he navigates the city’s underworld—street hustlers hawking fake Rolexes, gang clashes, and pervasive sex work. He teams up with a wealthy teen, a young prostitute, and a hustler who knew his sister, following clues through restaurants, dance clubs and brothels.
