Sandy returns to her homeland with her fiancé Dale to marry. They hope to begin a new life together in their home country. The return also unearths an old family tragedy that casts a shadow over their plans.

A caretaker informs Sandy that her childhood friend Helen died with her family years ago. Tessie explains the old superstition that a marriage within the same year as a death invites a sukob curse. The revelation unsettles Sandy as the wedding plans begin to feel ominous.

In a past sequence, Helen marries but soon experiences tragedy: her husband dies in a plane crash and Helen dies in a bus crash. Helen's mother disappears inside their home after these events. The sequence establishes the chilling origin of the curse.

In Bibiclat, Diana and Brian celebrate their marriage as a funeral toll rings from the church bell. Diana glimpses a mysterious, ghostly flower girl watching the ceremony. The sight sets a foreboding tone for what is to come.

During renovations, Brian falls off the roof and dies; he is taken to the hospital. Later, his body disappears from the morgue, and Diana's wedding veil is found in place of his body while the flower girl reappears. The eerie events deepen the sense that the curse is connected to weddings.

Sandy and Dale marry in Bibiclat, and during the ceremony Sandy sees the same flower girl in front of her. The apparition confirms that the sukob still reaches the living. The wedding becomes a turning point as supernatural omens intensify.

After the wedding, Betsy and Edith's van falls into a ravine, and the two friends vanish without a trace. Inside the wreck, rescuers recover Sandy's wedding veil, tying the living to the dead and deepening the sense of the sukob.

Joya, the psychic daughter of Dale's cousin Paola, reveals a shared connection between all the weddings. The group travels to Helen's former home to contact her spirit, while Joya is briefly possessed by a malevolent presence that warns them the wedding is cursed. These revelations set the plan to break the curse in motion.

Paola explains that siblings who vow in the same year are cursed, uncovering a deeper motive behind the chain of events. Tessie learns that Fred, Sandy's father, had an affair and sired a child who is Sandy's half-sibling, now grown. The group confronts this family secret as part of the fight against the sukob.

The wedding photos reveal a chilling pattern: the dead appear headless and the survivors are marked to die. Diana is revealed to be Claudia's daughter and she becomes pregnant, prompting the group to seek guidance from a hermit. The hermit warns that the spirit will claim Diana's child when her face fades in a wedding photo.

Tessie dies in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, and Sandy's cord is left at the scene as a grim symbol of the curse. The couple then heads to Bibiclat to locate Sandy's half-sister and plan how to counter the growing danger.

Sandy and Diana realize they are sisters and recover the arrhae from Diana's wedding paraphernalia. They confront the spirit as the Taong Putik Festival reaches Bibiclat, culminating in a chase atop the church belfry. Sandy sacrifices herself by falling to her death to save Diana and end the curse.

Diana reunites with their father and begins to rebuild her life, but the sukob's reach extends beyond the wedding. Fred is left haunted by Tessie and Sandy's ghosts arriving at his house to claim him. The film closes with the warning that the curse can affect those connected to the original transgressions.
