Storm

Pia and Rob, a couple who have busy careers, decide to take a much-needed vacation together. Both of them are looking forward to spending quality time away from their stressful work lives as a lawyer and an artist.

Upon their arrival at a dog yard, Rob decides to rent a small boat instead of a larger one. Pia initially questions this choice but Rob assures her that a smaller boat will allow them to travel more easily and have more fun at sea.

While out on the water, Pia and Rob drop anchor to go fishing. During this outing, Rob confesses to Pia that he lost a significant case, which has been weighing heavily on his mind, explaining his need to escape.

As they fish, the weather starts to turn ominous with signs of a strong storm approaching. Rob attempts to navigate back to safety, but they soon realize they are lost due to the rough seas.

Rob and Pia spot what seems to be an island and decide to go ashore to seek help. Upon arriving, they encounter a car with three aggressive men who are assaulting another man, leading Pia to feel frightened and urging Rob to leave.

Finding refuge from the storm, Pia and Rob stumble upon an abandoned house on the island. They enter, hoping to find safety and perhaps a phone to call for help, but discover that the house is deserted and in disarray.

As Rob searches for a phone, he unwittingly stumbles upon a room filled with drug plants. This unsettling discovery heightens their sense of danger as they realize the house might not be abandoned after all.

Just as they contemplate their next move, the three men return home unexpectedly. They confront Rob and Pia at gunpoint, accusing them of trespassing and revealing their intentions, which fill the couple with dread and helplessness.

Despite their inclination to escape, Rob and Pia are coerced into staying for the night under the menacing watch of their captors. The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense as the strangers make unwanted advances.

Determined to find a way out, Rob and Pia devise a plan to escape the horrifying situation. Even as they plot their exit, they are hindered by their captors' unpredictable behavior and the dangers lurking around them.

After numerous attempts to escape, they are caught, leading to a brutal confrontation. Rob suffers an injury, and Pia's desperation increases as she realizes the true nature of their captors.

With adrenaline pumping, Pia and Rob manage to break free and attempt to escape the island. They encounter the remains of their brutal experiences, further solidifying their determination to survive.

In a dramatic climax, Pia manages to start a car and drive away just as their captors pursue them. With one last act of defiance, they crash into their pursuers, securing their freedom and finally leaving the horror behind.
