In 1958 Nebraska, teenage outlaws Richie Stark and Laura Ferguson fall in love and unleash a violent spree, murdering seven strangers. Stark hunts murder instead of fleeing it, while Laura, desperate to escape after her father’s senseless killing, is pulled into the nightmare. Their brief, chaotic rampage across highways ends in tragedy.
