Squared Love (2021) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

At the end of Squared Love, everything seems to unfold in a perfect, almost unreal way. Monika, a talented teacher and model, ends up celebrated for her success both as an educator and an advertising star. Meanwhile, Enzo, the once womanizing journalist-turned-model, learns to embrace a sense of responsibility and true love. The film wraps up with a happy ending: Monika and Enzo are together, and she gains recognition as a teacher, completing her journey of personal fulfillment, while Enzo finds himself genuinely caring for someone and growing beyond his past flaws. All the chaotic and improbable moments—like her miraculous medical intervention when her niece faints—contribute to this ideal otherworldly justice, where every loose end is tied up neatly. Despite the story’s lack of realism and logical coherence, the ending offers a satisfying resolution that emphasizes happiness and fairness, making it feel like a carefully curated fairytale rather than a slice of real life. The film’s conclusion reinforces the notion that in this heightened universe, everything falls into place perfectly, with characters finally finding their rightful happiness after a series of unlikely yet convenient turns.
