In Encino, California, Patchy the Pirate tries to reach Bikini Bottom to personally deliver a birthday gift to SpongeBob SquarePants. A humorous mix-up occurs when a lady mistaking the tour bus for an aquarium puts it on a shelf in a fish store, leading Patrick to push the bus away, escaping with other fish. Meanwhile, back in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob discovers that his house has been destroyed. Despite the chaos, he sincerely thanks everyone for celebrating his birthday. Then, unexpectedly, a box falls from the sky—revealing Patchy’s head—along with a message congratulating SpongeBob. This heartfelt moment leads to a lively rendition of a birthday song featuring various celebrities congratulating SpongeBob, reminiscent of the show’s iconic theme song.

As the song concludes, Patrick asks SpongeBob how old he has become, but the question is interrupted by static, symbolizing a touch of humor and ambiguity.
