The Shoe Man urges Jakub to let go of his anger and not repeat the cycle of revenge and hate. Before parting ways, he hands Jakub the keys to his family home, symbolizing a fresh start—free from the burdens of past pain. Jakub chooses peace over revenge, distancing himself from the shadows of his former self, and the film ends with him finally settling into his family home, primed to live a quiet life. Though he hopes to reconnect with Lenka someday, he finds comfort in the possibility of a peaceful future, leaving the story on a note of redemption and hope.
