Five disparate strangers share a bizarre day that starts like any other, but after twenty‑four hours everything is altered. The film rides through the new millennium’s dawn, noting the collapse of idealism, capitalism and religion. Even drugs no longer work, and the ‘summer‑of‑love’ generation teeters toward riot as May Day uprisings erupt in Seattle.
