Dania, a young woman of 21, grew up within a conservative Christian community in the Faroe Islands. Having recently moved to Tórshavn, she begins a relationship with Trygvi, a hip-hop artist and poet known as Silvurdrongur. Drawn to his honest and provocative lyrics, Dania, who performs in a Christian band, starts to explore her own voice through writing. Her personal reflections evolve into a collection of poems titled 'Skál,' which critically examines the challenges faced by young people navigating a strict religious environment.
