Six Days Seven Nights

Robin Monroe and her boyfriend Frank embark on a week-long vacation to the stunning island of Makatea. They are accompanied by their pilot, Quinn Harris, and his girlfriend Angelica, setting the stage for an unexpected getaway.

On their first night on the island, Frank takes a leap of faith and proposes to Robin, eager to solidify their relationship. However, the moment becomes clouded as Quinn, in a tipsy state, makes unwelcome advances towards her.

Believing there is a signal beacon on the island, Robin and Quinn set off on a mission to call for help. They soon discover that they have landed on a completely different island, complicating their rescue.

As they navigate their precarious situation, Quinn witnesses a terrifying act on a nearby ship—a murder by ruthless pirates. This encounter forces them to flee and dive off a cliff into the ocean.

Escaping the pirates, Robin and Quinn stumble upon an abandoned World War II Japanese floatplane. Recognizing this as their potential means of escape, they begin working on repairing it.

As they struggle to fix the floatplane, Robin and Quinn's bond deepens amid the chaos around them. Their connection grows as they rely on each other for both physical and emotional support.

While preparing for takeoff, Quinn and Robin are ambushed by the returning pirates, who open fire on them. Quinn is injured in the melee, but they miraculously manage to escape just as the pirates’ ship is destroyed.

After a harrowing flight, Robin crash-lands the repaired floatplane just yards from the memorial service that had been held for her and Quinn. Frank is overwhelmed with joy to see her again, but guilt hangs over him.

Robin visits Quinn in the hospital to express her feelings for him, but he gently rebuffs her, citing their different lives. This conversation leaves Robin heartbroken yet introspective about her choices.
