Pepsi is a transgender woman seeking stability and employment as a caregiver. Having previously been involved with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in the southern Philippines, she fled her home country and spent over a decade working as a nurse in Libya under Gaddafi’s regime. Faced with gender discrimination and political upheaval, she was forced to join the growing number of refugees seeking new lives elsewhere.
