Inspired by the true story of a geisha who was murdered in a city renowned for its hot baths, director Adachi employs his signature conceptual documentary style, delivering the account in a monotone narration. The same incident that opened Violated Angels, which defied causality, is presented here as a stark unconventional anti‑spectacle.
