James Brown III, Secret Agent 00 Soul, quits the government to open a neighborhood detective agency. His former office becomes a space above a chicken‑and‑ribs joint, and instead of glamorous female agents he’s supervised by his lazy, 400‑pound son Junior. Still, 00 Soul molds a ragtag crew into the quirkiest detective team the ‘hood has ever seen.
