A fantasy satire of American politics follows a young boy who dreams he becomes U.S. President while his “mammy” serves as Vice President. The short film showcases early screen work by legends Ethel Waters and Sammy Davis Jr. Waters, lithe in a white gown, sings “Am I Blue,” and seven‑year‑old Davis entertains with song, dance and comic antics, performing “I’ll Be Glad When You’re Dead You Rascal You.”
