After a Chinese diplomat is abducted at a Geneva conference, world peace is threatened. Clues lead to a hideout in Denmark, so the Danish secret service calls back their best agent, Smith, recently released from a psychiatric ward. To conceal him they enlist Frede Hansen, a novelty‑trick salesman, whose unrecognizable persona lets them infiltrate the crime syndicate behind the kidnapping.
