When a young man learns his girlfriend bears the stigmata—her hands and feet bleed like the crucifixion wounds of Christ—he fights to protect her from a ruthless TV preacher who sees her suffering as a lucrative spectacle. The preacher plots to exploit her miracles for profit, forcing the couple into a struggle between faith, greed and love.
