In 1697, an exorcism on the young French girl Rapunzel Gothel in Germany went tragically wrong, resulting in her death but leaving a vengeful demon bound to the castle of Father Petrosinus. The priest subsequently sold the building, and centuries later, Alina Grimm and her friends, film students creating a horror movie, unknowingly move in. Unaware of the supernatural danger, they begin filming, inadvertently reawakening Rapunzel Gothel’s demon, who seeks retribution against the priest’s lineage.
