Toru, a down‑and‑out tabloid reporter desperate for a big scoop, decides to target rising pop star Miki Yoko, convinced her record label is feeding her drugs. He stalks her, assaults her, and hopes the controversy will pay the bills. When she’s kidnapped right before his eyes, Toru’s investigative instincts thrust him into a seedy world of sex, drugs and entertainment corruption, forcing him to confront whether he can survive the ruthless pursuit of his story.
