Flaming arrows ignite a violent clash as the unscrupulous “Oilprince” schemes a lucrative deal with the Western Arizona Bank, selling it fictitious oil wells at Shelly Lake. When colonists plan to settle the area, he replaces their scout with a henchman and diverts them onto a false route. However, his plot is thwarted by the noble Apache chief Winnetou and his steadfast blood‑brother, Old Surehand, who rally to protect the settlers.
