Raaz 3: The Third Dimension

The film opens with Shanaya, a once-celebrated actress, laughing maniacally at her reflection. In a fit of despair, she shatters the mirror and takes her own life using a shard, setting the stage for the subsequent events that unfold through flashbacks.

Despite Shanaya's love and eagerness to marry, Aditya prioritizes his career as a director, delaying their wedding. His ambition to achieve success in the film industry overshadows their relationship, causing tensions to arise.

The narrative shifts with the introduction of Sanjana, a young aspiring actress struggling to find work. Her persistence pays off when she catches Aditya's attention, ultimately leading to a pivotal change in Shanaya's life.

Aditya offers Sanjana a lead role in his film, which quickly becomes a hit. As Sanjana rises to fame, Shanaya is left feeling overshadowed and forgotten, leading her to become increasingly consumed by jealousy.

Overwhelmed by jealousy and heartbreak, Shanaya contemplates quitting acting entirely to focus on marrying Aditya. However, Aditya chooses to pursue a relationship with Sanjana, deepening Shanaya's sadness.

In her darkening state, Shanaya turns to her uncle Agoo dada, a tantrik, for help. He introduces Shanaya to black magic, prompting her to summon the spirit of Tara, vowing to make Sanjana's life unbearable.

As Shanaya invokes Tara, the spirit begins to torment Sanjana, pushing her to the brink of despair and suicide. Aditya, witnessing Sanjana's suffering, grows increasingly worried and seeks out another tantrik for assistance.

Determined to save Sanjana, Aditya confronts the ghost using a special locket. The tense encounter ends with Tara being forced to retreat, but the effects of Shanaya's actions linger ominously.
