During the 1960s Venezuelan armed uprisings, a young guerrilla woman gives birth in secret, and her daughter is born on Mother’s Day, appearing in the press. Both must flee, living under disguises and false names. Narrated by Chica, who with her cousin Teo re‑imagines their fathers’ guerrilla feats, the film intertwines their childhood fantasies with the brutal reality of death, torture, accusations and betrayals inside the movement.
