Pistol Whipped

Matt Connor was once a police officer living with his wife Liz and daughter Becky. He was involved in law enforcement and had a close partnership with his colleague Steve. Their lives changed drastically after the theft of police-impounded money during a case, with Matt becoming a suspect due to his gambling habits.

Matt's partner disappeared along with a large stash of impounded money, raising suspicions against Matt. Although Steve provided an alibi by claiming they were playing poker, doubts remained, leading to Matt being suspected of involvement in the crime.

Matt is expelled from the police force due to ongoing suspicions about his involvement in the missing money. His wife Liz files for divorce and marries Steve, while Matt spirals into heavy drinking and gambling, losing contact with his family.

Matt's gambling debts are mysteriously cleared when the Old Man's collector, Blue, approaches him. Matt is told he must work off his debt by becoming a hitman for the Old Man's vigilante organization, targeting criminals who escape justice.

Matt begins to undertake his duties, carrying out his first hit assignments against criminals with relative ease. He learns that his new girlfriend Drea is also working for the Old Man, revealing a dangerous and complex new chapter in his life.

Matt receives an order to kill Steve, his former partner and rival, which he refuses to carry out. This decision leads to confrontation with his handlers and raises questions about Steve's true involvement in criminal activities.

Steve kills an innocent priest and uses the confession to frame Blue for the murder. He manipulates the situation to justify targeting Matt, further escalating the conflict between them.

Matt vows to avenge the priest’s death, determined to uncover Steve’s true nature. He is arrested but quickly released, following Steve’s plan to track and eliminate him.

A tense standoff occurs after the funeral of the priest, where Steve captures Becky and threatens her life. Drea and Blue support Matt as he fights Steve's associates in a heated gunfight, during which Blue sacrifices himself.

Matt confronts and kills Steve in a final showdown, avenging the murder of his partner and freeing Becky from his malicious grip. The intense confrontation resolves Matt’s quest for justice against his corrupt former partner.

After the chaos, Matt and Becky are shown reunited and spending more quality time together. This signifies his redemption and the beginning of a new chapter of hope for his family.

The film ends with Matt praying in a church as Drea enters to deliver his next assignment from the Old Man, hinting at his continued involvement in dangerous operations and unresolved conflicts.
