A commuter train’s passengers get an earthquake alert on their phones just as the cars jolt, sparks fly, and the lights go out. When they awaken, the tunnel is gone—dense foliage presses against the windows and the rails end abruptly ahead and behind. Their responses range from panic to indifference as they face an unknown wilderness and wonder if they can survive.
