Set in an ancient folk world, an elderly couple separate— the man into the woods, the woman to the river— where a peach drifts downstream, giving birth to the heroic Peach Boy. After vanquishing a band of ogres, he finds more foes elsewhere, sails across the sea, saves many, but unexpected trouble follows. This whimsical “what‑if” tale imagines multiple peaches and lingering danger.
