Project Cthulhu was a scientific research project led by Sathya's father, Rohit Sharma, aimed at conquering death. His research created a virus that could bring the dead back to life, but the virus also turned living people into zombies. Rohit himself was bitten by the infection, and the virus animated his body into a zombie associated with the infamous Hitler.

Gopi reveals that the zombie Hitler believes Sathya is his wife because she bears a striking resemblance to Hitler's former partner. This resemblance is why Hitler's zombie army captures Sathya and drags her to Hitler's residence, adding personal danger to the rescue mission.
