After years at sea, Juhani Haavisto goes back to the house where he grew up, only to find his father Eino confined to a wheelchair and suffering from dementia. The homecoming forces Juhani to face the lingering trauma of childhood sexual abuse and violence, and to grapple with the painful, strained bond with his deteriorating parent.
