Screenwriter Jason Miller retreats into his work after a distressing event, attempting to avoid confronting the trauma. Isolated in his apartment, his mental stability wavers as he meets Lisa, a captivating neighbor, and a relationship blossoms. As Jason works late to complete his screenplay, he becomes increasingly drawn to her, but unsettling occurrences within the building begin to create doubt and confusion. With his grip on reality loosening and his life spiraling, he must fight to discern truth from illusion and cling to hope.
