Norman Pitkin longs to follow in his father’s footsteps as a police officer, but he repeatedly fails the recruitment requirements, including the minimum height. Undeterred, he dons his late father’s uniform and begins patrolling the streets on his own. His well‑meaning but bumbling attempts at law‑enforcement unleash a series of slap‑stick mishaps and chaos that only Pitkin can create.
