After a promising start as a musician, Hyeon‑seok is forced to abandon his career when Meniere’s syndrome turns music into overwhelming noise. Seeking escape from his depression, he travels to Monbetsu, a quiet Hokkaido town, where he meets local guide Megumi at the train station. Staying at her family‑run “Megumi Inn,” the two gradually reconnect with sound and feeling through shared meals, the landscape’s natural noises, and tentative music together.
