Hyman Goldberger, president of Super‑Colossal Pictures, faces a funding crisis when his main backer threatens to pull out. He tracks down six affluent prospects who might invest, but his well‑meaning assistant Albert unintentionally brings six street‑musician friends to the set, and Hyman mistakes them for the financiers. Chaos and comic miscommunications follow.
