Even funnier than “Carry On Nurse!”, the film follows competent Joanna, who moves with her scatterbrained mother to a rural village for her first post as district nurse. She wins over patients skeptical of a younger practitioner and sparks a romance with a farmer—until he tries to evict a couple who have pitched their caravan on his land.
