On November 30th, the anniversary of King Karl XII’s death, Stockholm’s Alby suburb sees clashes between hyper‑nationalist/neo‑Nazi demonstrators and democratic counter‑protests. The film adapts West Side Story to this setting: Adam, a neo‑Nazi, falls for Julia, a Peruvian political refugee. Their love drives Adam to leave his gang, but after Julia’s brother kills Adam’s best friend, Adam kills the brother.
