The greedy lord von Wurstburg lives luxuriously on his estate, imposing heavy taxes on the peasants. His world is shaken when the rightful heir, Sir William, arrives. Meanwhile, the outlaw Robin Hood, who helps the poor, camps in the nearby woods. As Sir William moves to claim the estate and the peasants, inspired by Robin Hood, rise against von Wurstburg’s excesses, the lord faces a double bind.
