At a bustling Crimean resort each evening entertainer Lyudmila Pashkova hosts the light‑hearted talent show “Where Are You, Talents?” to amuse holiday‑makers. Murmansk vacationer Michael Gudkov steps up, singing his beloved ballad “My Female Sailor.” Although the audience applauds, Lyudmila withholds the win. Feeling snubbed, Michael returns night after night, performing the same song until he finally earns the prize and becomes a beloved regular of the competition.
