An unhinged killer escapes prison and targets the officials who sentenced him, putting famed comedian Will Hay on his list. Hay teams up with the nervous Claude Hulbert, and together they scramble through a frantic chase of narrow escapes, clever ruses, and slap‑slap mishaps, determined to stop the murderer before his grisly revenge is carried out.
