Mr. Rossi Looks for Happiness

Carlo Rossi works in a factory under a demanding boss and feels crushed by his routine. He keeps up a cheerful facade while nights are filled with whispered pleas for help. He longs for a life that finally changes, even if only in dreamlike moments.

From his quiet pleas, Fairy Sicura appears, luminous and otherworldly. She offers a bold remedy: a magical whistle that can whisk him away to any moment in time.

Rossi blows the whistle and vanishes into the past, Gastone clamped to his shirt. Dinosaurs menace their trek as they scramble to stay alive, while fire becomes a desperate need they must fulfill by any means.

The duo navigates the grandeur and danger of the Colosseum, eluding pursuers who would capture them for sport. They rely on quick wit and luck as they hop between crowds, while Rossi guards his magical whistle as a lifeline.

A perilous return drops them back into the modern city. A passing car crushes the whistle, halting their journeys and leaving Rossi to face reality once more.

Fairy Sicura reappears with a new pitch, proposing that Rossi’s adventures be paired with a chosen travel location. The next stop is the Middle Ages, a world of chivalry and peril.

In a medieval setting, a princess’s tresses trigger royal guards to chase them from a castle. Rossi and Gastone scramble through the courtyard as missteps threaten capture.

They land on a remote island between the 16th and 18th centuries and uncover a treasure chest. Gastone regains his voice, turning their unlikely trek into a gleeful, dangerous expedition.

A rogue parrot alarms them of a pirate threat as an unnamed African tribe descends on their camp. The clash is swift and costly, forcing a difficult choice about continuing their travels.

They return to their own time, exhausted but wiser. Rossi vows never to use the whistle again and discards the second instrument to end the cycle for good.

Fairy Sicura offers one last grand journey to the Fairytale Kingdom. They reach Snow White’s doorstep, where Gastone is poisoned by a witch and must be awakened by a prince’s kiss.

The voyage continues to ancient Egypt during Tutankhamun’s era, where a witch sows trouble and Rossi is enslaved to finish a pyramid. Gastone is revered as a god by locals until they outwit the enchantment and return home, discarding the third whistle.

Gastone accidentally blows the whistle and they land in the rough early colonial American West. A staged gunfight and a treacherous waterfall test their nerves as they fight to survive and return home.

The fairy tempts them with one last voyage to the future, where flying houses promise abundance. The future proves tense and strange, placing Rossi in a spacebound prison for decades before they finally return.

Back in the present, the fairy reveals a hard-won truth: happiness cannot be bought by jumping through time. Rossi learns that contentment comes from within, not from escape. He persuades his visiting boss to use the last whistle to remove the chief source of stress.
