In the dim half‑light of an old stately home, Samuel Davila and his grandfather Paul—once a celebrated writer—concoct elaborate tricks to thwart yet another psychologist sent to cure Samuel’s severe agoraphobia. Their ruses include serving spiced biscuits and a glass of water laced with laxative, turning each treatment into a mischievous game.
