Luke becomes the prime suspect because of his troublemaking reputation in Vallikkunnu. The townspeople already view him as a menace, and when the police begin their investigation, Luke fits their profile of a likely culprit. His history of causing problems in the community makes him an easy target for the investigators, despite lacking actual evidence linking him to the murders.

SK is revealed as the real Banana Killer. He is one of the passengers on the bus with Kuruppu and the others. After the group covers up Kuruppu's death, SK reveals his true identity at midnight on the road, threatening the passengers. He had been abducting elderly men across Kerala, murdering them by hammering them to death and stuffing bananas in their mouths.

Kuruppu harasses Jessy on the bus, and in response, she uses pepper spray to defend herself. The pepper spray triggers a severe asthma attack that kills Kuruppu instantly. His death is accidental but results from his own aggressive behavior toward Jessy.

SK suggests that they take responsibility for Kuruppu's death in exchange for a small payout, implying they frame it as an accident or incident where they would receive compensation. Fearing the police investigation and the complications that would arise from Kuruppu dying on the bus, everyone agrees to dispose of the body rather than report the incident.

Aruvi notices a chest tattoo on Kuruppu's corpse that initially suggests he might be her biological father, raising disturbing questions about her family history. However, Aruvi later realizes the tattoo is not unique to her father, meaning Kuruppu is likely not her biological father, which allows the group to proceed with cremation without this complication.

SK reveals his identity as the Banana Killer when the police stop the vehicle briefly. He escapes with the corpse during this confrontation, using the chaos as an opportunity to expose himself and make his escape. His revelation appears to be a calculated move to assert control and create further disruption.

Luke decides to take the blame to protect Jessy and allow the other passengers to escape. He selflessly confesses to being the Banana Killer despite being innocent, knowing this will clear his friends and give them freedom. This noble act costs him personally as he becomes the target of a ten lakh bounty.

Luke locates Pakru, the missing dog, and contacts officer Ramachandran. He analyzes drone footage to deduce that SK moved Kuruppu's body to a junkyard. In the final confrontation at the junkyard, Luke and his friends overpower SK, who is arrested. With the real killer caught and the truth revealed, Luke's name is finally cleared.

Pakru is the missing dog of officer Ajay Ramachandran, who leads the manhunt for the Banana Killer partly driven by grief over his lost pet. A CCTV clip shows Pakru in the frame with Kuruppu, hinting at a dangerous link between them. When Luke finds Pakru and contacts Ramachandran, it helps advance the investigation toward solving the case.

The police discover that all the Banana Killer's victims were insurance agents. Kuruppu was the next target because he fit the pattern - likely also an insurance agent or someone connected to that profession. The killer specifically targeted elderly men in this line of work, and Kuruppu was about to become his next victim before his accidental death on the bus.

At the end of the movie, Luke decides to stay in India rather than being sent away, and he remains with Jessy. After Luke's name is cleared and peace returns to Vallikkunnu, their relationship continues, with Jessy standing by him throughout the ordeal.
