Shaun, a teenager in a rundown Melbourne suburb, navigates adulthood while his father is in prison and his alcoholic mother offers little guidance. He turns to theft, weed and dealing drugs at the mall, rejecting help from his girlfriend and a social worker. When his father returns with a mistress, Shaun realizes he must face his problems alone.
