Anikkuttan is a service mechanic who repairs electronic devices and struggles with mental stability. His father's death by suicide deeply affects him, especially since it was linked to family conflicts and societal issues. He harbors intense hatred for his sister Sandhya and her lover Deepu due to caste differences and personal grievances.

The night before Sandhya's wedding, her elopement with Deepu causes emotional turmoil and worsens Anikkuttan’s mental state. His father's suicide and the caste-related tensions contribute to his feelings of anger and alienation from his family and community. Anikkuttan refuses to reconcile with his sister or let his mother visit her.

The government urges citizens to move into shelter homes to ensure safety amid social unrest. Anikkuttan dismisses this, calling it a publicity stunt and expressing concern over sharing amenities with other castes. This reflects his deep-seated mistrust of authorities and caste divisions.

Anikkuttan is invited to Suni's baby's 28th-day celebration, where tensions rise when his mother gifts a gold bangle to the baby without consulting him. His anger increases, damaging his relationship with Suni's family and highlighting his ongoing struggle with social and familial conflicts.

As a heavy rain begins, Suni and his family decide to move to a shelter home to avoid natural calamities. Anikkuttan refuses to go, choosing to stay with his mother, displaying his stubbornness and mistrust of social safety measures. His decision sets the stage for the ensuing disaster.

Soon after going to bed, a landslide occurs in the area, and Anikkuttan gets trapped beneath the soil. His physical condition becomes critical as the landslide isolates him, forcing him into a life-threatening situation that tests his resilience and mental state.

Unconscious and underwater, Anikkuttan dreams of his father, who tells him that death levels all social divisions and urges him to save a crying baby. The dream offers a philosophical message about equality beyond caste distinctions, inspiring him to fight for survival.

Awakening from unconsciousness, Anikkuttan fights to escape the soil, calling out for help. He searches desperately for Suni's baby, Ponni, and on the way, he finds the dead body of Divakaran. His determination intensifies as he sources the baby amidst the chaos.

Anikkuttan successfully rescues Ponni, the only survivor, and is pulled out of the debris along with others who did not survive. He is taken to the hospital, where the trauma of the event begins to settle as he confronts the loss of his family and community members.

Sandhya and Deepu arrive at the hospital to support Anikkuttan, showing a moment of family and emotional connection amid the tragedy. Anikkuttan, emotionally overwhelmed, moves toward the children's ICU, seeking solace in the presence of Ponni, who is now like his daughter.

In a poignant ending, Anikkuttan accepts Ponni as his own daughter, symbolizing hope and healing after the devastating event. This moment signifies a shift from hatred and division toward love and acceptance, emphasizing the film's message on equality beyond caste and societal barriers.
