Shortly before the end of World War II, a Gestapo commando unit is ordered to storm a secluded mental‑hospital set in an elegant manor and wipe out the inmates. An anonymous tip, however, warns that an enemy spy is concealed among the patients. Officer Windisch is given only a few days to identify the impostor among several hundred patients, turning the mission into a tense hunt inside the asylum.
