Oh Su-bi continues to visit her husband Shin Hyun‑wu, imprisoned for involuntary homicide, despite his affairs and pressure to divorce. While visiting she meets sincere art student Kim Dong‑yub and later runs into ex‑boyfriend Kim Mun‑ho, whose perverse tastes repulse her. She starts a genuine romance with Dong‑yub, who promises to take her to France. On the day they should leave, Hyun‑wu receives a special pardon, is released, and Su‑bi must greet him, unable to escape the shackles of her marriage.
