The movie begins by introducing Sajeevan, a friendly and simple KSRTC conductor. He is shown to be close to his sister, brother-in-law, and nieces, establishing his caring nature. The story sets the tone by highlighting his day-to-day life and relationships.

Sajeevan has a confrontation with a passenger named Bijimol, which marks the start of their interactions. Despite initial conflicts, Sajeevan develops a growing affection for Bijimol as they continue to meet. This sets the stage for their eventual relationship.

Sajeevan visits Bijimol's family to ask for her hand in marriage. Her overbearing mother, Kunjumol, and her controlling nature influence the negotiations. The marriage is agreed upon under the condition that Sajeevan will live with Kunjumol's family.

Following the marriage, Bijimol and her mother begin creating issues in Sajeevan's life, reflecting her own control issues. The household dynamics become tense as Sajeevan tries to adjust to his new family environment.

Sajeevan suffers a severe accident that necessitates a kidney transplant for his survival. His sister prepares to donate her kidney, but Bijimol unexpectedly offers her own kidney to Sajeevan. Her gesture is motivated more by a desire for control than genuine love.

A misunderstanding arises when Bijimol suspects Sajeevan of drinking alcohol during his recovery. This leads to a heated confrontation where she slaps Sajeevan's friend Ramesan, and Sajeevan retaliates by slapping her after she insults his brother-in-law Dasan.

Kunjumol initiates a police case against Sajeevan, demanding that he return the donated kidney or pay compensation. Her aggressive tactics extend to legal proceedings, with advocate Jijo representing Sajeevan and his family.

During the court case, Bijimol collapses and is found to be pregnant. This twist complicates the legal battle, revealing her pregnancy and raising questions about the child's paternity. The case continues amidst these revelations.

Kunjumol tries to implicate Jijo in the child's paternity and continues to manipulate the situation. Jijo, feeling guilty, confronts Kunjumol and Bijimol, agreeing to her demands but seeking to see his child and address the spreading poison.

A chaotic event occurs when a buffalo sale and attack unfold during arguments. During the altercation, Kunjumol is accidentally pushed into a well, leading to her eventual death. This marks a turning point in the story.

The narrative jumps to the future, showing Bijimol and Sajeevan reconciled with their daughter. Their daughter is portrayed as aggressive, hinting at ongoing family tensions and unresolved issues from the past. The film concludes with a focus on their family life.
