The boot’s a hoot as a desperate, barely‑twenty‑year‑old tries to leave London’s drug scene by taking a waiter job in a respectable restaurant, with comedic urgency. The only obstacle is finding a sensible pair of shoes, something his recent homelessness hasn’t supplied. The film follows his frantic hunt for boots, a quest that nearly costs him his life.
