In the mid‑1990s, a surge of British cultural confidence—fuelled by Oasis’s global breakthrough and Tony Blair’s “Cool Britannia” campaign—propelled Britpop into the spotlight. The documentary examines whether Britpop was a genuine movement or a marketing gimmick, featuring interviews with Noel and Liam Gallagher, Jarvis Cocker, Damon Albarn, Louise Wener and other musicians and critics who rode the wave to international success.
