The city feels like a jungle, and some survive better. International trader Stephen finds his ex‑wife Patricia in an Amazonian village, needing her consent for a divorce before he can marry Charlotte. He learns he has a jungle‑raised son, Mimi‑Siku, who longs for Paris. Stephen brings him to the city, where the boy meets a bewildering modern world.
